About

The Friends of Southampton Council on Aging (FOSCOA) is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to enhance financial and operational support for programs for the Southampton Council on Aging and whose membership is comprised solely of volunteers. The support may include, but is not limited to, memberships, fund-raising events, sponsorships, grant applications, and individual and corporate donations to the Council. This support is dedicated to assisting the Council to provide activities, programs and services to improve the emotional and physical well-being of Southampton seniors. A secondary purpose is to increase the awareness of Southampton residents, especially its seniors, to the existence of the Council and its offerings.

All proceeds of the FOSCOA are solely for the benefit of the Friends of Southampton COA and its mission to support the Southampton Council on Aging (“COA”).  The FOSCOA is a 501 (3)(c) charitable organization and all contributions are tax deductible.  FOSCOA will not engage in any substantial activities that will influence legislation and all activities will be conducted in a non-partisan manner.

FOSCOA meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:30am in the 2nd floor conference room at Town Hall.
